The Build: What the Surfaces Are Made of

The grade is one half of a specification. This is the other half: what each surface is made of, what it weighs, and how it behaves on a stage.

The Solid Builds

The published builds, side by side

What Both Builds Do in the Real World

Transparent Scrim: A Thirty Meter Reveal That Weighs Nine Kilograms

The scrim is a 32-point hexagonal mesh at 41.2 g/m\u00b2, about a sixth of the weight of the opaque build. A full 30 \u00d7 7.32 m scrim is 9.05 kg of material; one person carries the whole thing. The same area in the opaque build is 56 kg.

Figures describe the surface alone and are supplied for guidance, based on average results from current production; they are not a warranty. Edges, hems, frames and packaging are specified and weighed on top. Both solid builds are NFPA 701 flame retardant certified.
